The year may not have started on a bright note for multi-faceted Nagesh Kukunoor with his directorial venture, BOMBAY TO BANGKOK, starring Shreyas Talpade failing to impress the critics as well as the audience. But it appears that Nagesh may well get a chance to redeem himself and end the year on a high as there are talks that both his projects, John Abraham's AASHAYEIN and Akshay Kumar's EIGHT BY TEN are set to release within the next few months.

John Abraham's AASHAYEIN, which was scheduled to release in June, is now slated to release sometimes in September. In order to get the exact picture we caught up with the director, Nagesh, who was present as a member of the jury at the Osian's Cine Fan Festival, New Delhi. Nagesh said, "It's too early to talk about both my films. Let the time come and I will definitely speak to you." However he was quite sure that both his films, AASHAYEIN and EIGHT BY TEN, would release later this year.

Must say we are really looking forward to both the movies from this unique filmmaker, who has a special gift of combining mainstream with parallel cinema and making it enjoyable at the same time!
