Though being set on a contrasting scale, both SARKAR RAJ and AAMIR would be completing 50 days at the box office tomorrow.
Their box office collections may not quite be comparable (SARKAR RAJ has made 34 crores from the Indian market while AAMIR's collections are a little less than 10% of that) but the fact remains that from ROI point of view, both the films did make an impression. Both proving to be a coverage fair with DVD sales expected to extend their shelf life amongst the audience, SARKAR RAJ as well as AAMIR are now in their last leg at theaters. However, none of the two are willing to make an exit before celebrating their 8th week which would gain them a 50 days stamp!
Makers of both the films have moved on though. PVR, which distributed SARKAR RAJ, is enjoying bumper success with JAANE TU YA JAANE NAA while UTV, producers of AAMIR, have been having a great time professionally with KISMAT KONNECTION hitting the bull's eye!
