HIJACK makes Esha Deol's hopes fly high!

Touted as the real/true inheritor to her beautiful mother Hema Malini's dream girl tag, Esha Deol had everything going for her. Big banners and plum roles opposite top stars but as luck would have it most of her recent projects like SHAADI NO. 1, ANKAHEE, CASH and DARLING, etc failed at the turnstile. Her last big hit was NO ENTRY (2005), opposite Salman Khan but that too was merely an extended guest appearance and did not do much for her sagging career. In between she also starred in Ashwin Dhir's ONE TWO THREE which just about managed to recover its investment.
However, it appears that lady luck is finally going to smile on Hema's darling daughter as Esha Deol has some very promising roles to look forward too. With projects like ISHAAN, CHAI GARAM, MONEY HAI TOH HONEY HAI (in a guest appearance), HIJACK and Kalpana Lajmi's next, Esha is definitely here to stay and make a bid for the top!
Of all the roles the one that she is really looking forward to is HIJACK, directed by Kunal Shivdasani in which she plays an airhostess and has for company Shiney Ahuja. Esha says that initially she thought that playing an airhostess would be easy but since her role was very powerful, it took some efforts to get the desired performance. Esha adds that Kunal and Shiney too have worked really hard. She is hopeful that the film, being an action thriller like DHOOM and DUS, would definitely appeal to the audience.
