Bhatts overcame IPL

While the months gone by saw the IPL fever all over the nation and many big producers suffered a setback at box office. It was only JANNAT who could heave the flag of victory at Box Office.
On one side big budgeted films like TASHAN starring the biggest names of Bollywood sank without a whimper, than on other side many of them preferred to postpone their movies. Though, quite a few big films did moderately well in the midst of cricket mania.
It is a known fact that whenever cricket craze is around producers barely take risk to release their films. But Bhatts not going by the usual strategy followed their instinct and went ahead to release JANNAT gallantly even during the soaring IPL temperature.
The results seem to be more than positive as JANNAT is now counted as one of the biggest opener of the year 2008 after JODHAA AKBAR, RACE, etc. Not only has Vishesh Films' done very good business across India but overseas also. And still going strong in the circuits!
Bhatts have proved it that good substance and music can overcome any hurdles.
