Why Vidyasagar is confident about MERE BAAP...

Not many will know that Vidyasagar, one of the two composers of Priyadarshan's upcoming MERE BAAP PEHLE AAP, won the National Best Music award for SWARABHISHEKHAM in 2005. He also did the background score for Rajiv Anchal's Hollywood film, BEYOND THE SOUL.
Coming back to MERE BAAP PEHLE AAP, though there were apprehensions about the music of the film earlier, the superb promos have now managed to show that the situational tracks could not have been better. The interesting reason was recently disclosed by Vidyasagar. He says that he was given a clear brief about MERE BAAP PEHLE AAP by none other than director Priyadarshan himself. In fact, unlike the current trend of the music first and lyrics later, the title track was composed only after Sameer had penned down the hilarious wordings!
The Naseer, Akshaye Khanna, Paresh Rawal and Genelia starrer, MERE BAAP PEHLE AAP, is all set to release to a good response next Friday.
