There is always a lot of noise when Ramu launches newcomers. Aftab Shivdasani, Mohit Ahlawat, Randeep Hooda, Priyanka Kothari - It's a long list indeed! However, this time around there is a soft launch in the making with the director returning with PHOONK.
Marking the arrival of Kannada superstar Sudeep on the Bollywood scene, PHOONK is a horror flick produced by One More Thought Entertainment. Sudeep is a popular name down South and has acted in numerous successful films like SPARSH and HUCCHA. Two times Filmfare award recipient, Sudeep is making an unconventional entry into Hindi film circuit with PHOONK that doesn't require him to indulge himself into any specific 'hero antics'!
A movie with black magic as its theme, PHOONK promises to be a scary outing in the offering, something which is quite obvious after one has a look at the first teaser of the film. Lasting close to 2 minutes, it has managed to impress all those Ramu followers who have liked his work in films like RAAT, BHOOT and perhaps DARLING.
