Meet the new female in Ramu's life

After making the career of Urmila Matondkar and launching pretty faces like Priyanka Kothari and Antara Mali, Ram Gopal Varma took a sabbatical as far as women in life went. In the interim he launched a bunch of technicians (directors, cinematographers, editors) but almost all of them were men. The only exception to the rule was perhaps Sneha Khanwalkar who composed a few songs for the ill fated GO.
However, with PHOONK, Ramu makes a big announcement as he hands over the reign of capturing the film on reels to a woman. The lucky lady is Savita Singh for whom PHOONK would be her debut effort behind the camera. She has been roped in as the Director of photography of the film. Since the film is centered in the theme of black magic, it would be interesting to see how Savita has captured the scary moments on camera.
Experience wise, Savita appears to be a rank newcomer to the world of cinema since an extensive search through the internet search engines too didn't reveal any information. Ramu, who is busy with the release of SARKAR RAJ, too remained unavailable for comment.
