In 2007, Adnan Sami featured in an enchanting music video - 'Dil Kya Kare' for SALAAM E ISHQ. Picturised on John Abraham and Vidya Balan, the song was a runaway hit. So delighted were the makers with the success of 'Dil Kya Kare' that they pronto got the music video out with shots from Sami's LIVE recording for the song.
Now Pahlaj Nihalani has followed suit for his film KHUSHBOO which releases tomorrow. Acting as the launch pad for newcomers Rishi Rehan and Avantikka, this Rajesh Ram Singh directed film has music by Adnan Sami which has slowly but steadily caught up with the audience. In fact the number 'Kyun Hai Mukhe Lagta' turned out to be the most appreciated of the lot that resulted in Nihalani choosing the remix version of the song to be given special attention.
He soon summoned his film's lead and shot an exclusive music video along with Adnan Sami. This 'Hip-Hop' remix version completely changes the melodic mood of the original and brings to fore a different mood and setting, hence making it just right for the club setting. A smart mixing which makes 'Kyon Hai...' doubly enjoyable, the music video has only added to the promotional drive for the film.
Now one waits to see how the makers of the film bombard the song on the music channels and enhance awareness about KHUSHBOO over the weekend!
