Get ready all you guys, Bollywood's haute babe Mallika Sherawat's to hit 99 slaps and blow a kiss!
Well that's what the promos of the forthcoming movie UGLI AUR PAGLI suggests. Believe it or not but in this upcoming riotous comedy from the house of Pritish Nandy Communications, Mallika slaps Ranvir Shorey, her co-star in the movie, a staggering 99 times. In this crazy comedy Mallika is playing a feisty, aggressive, quirky and kinky girl Kuhu (Pagli) who likes to dominate men. Whereas on the other hand Ranvir plays a goofy, nerdy and desperate geek Kabir (Ugly) who has been studying engineering for a decade and hasn't had any luck with girls so far. When these two diametrically opposite personalities meet craziest, wackiest things happen.
Mallika has always been known for her bold and beautiful image. She has carried her sexy image with elan and has bravely portrayed all her characters with some unique style. With UGLI AUR PAGLI it seems the smart lady is planning to break free herself from the sexy siren image and get into the humour shoes.
Her look in UGLI AUR PAGLI is quite appealing and gels well with the vivacious character. She must have done various impressive roles in her past but with UGLI AUR PAGLI she may soon become a synonym with the youth with her 'pagli' act
Though in PYAAR KE SIDE EFFECTS Mallika and Ranvir never had a chance to share the screen space, but UGLI AUR PAGLI brings them together for the first time as the lead pair. Directed by debutant film maker Sachin Khot the music has been scored by talented Anu Malik.
