With HAAL E DIL and KHUSHBOO falling over the opening weekend itself, DE TAALI showing some signs of a fight at the box office and SARKAR RAJ seeing a huge drop over the second week (close to 70%), it is clear that in the recent times only JANNAT would stand tall as a bona fide box office HIT.

With the fate of recently released films being far from encouraging, all eyes are now set on 4th July which sees the release of multi crore LOVE STORY 2050 and youth flick JAANE TU YA JAANE NAA, both of which are looking extremely positive. With hardly a fortnight more to go for the release of the two much hyped films that launch Harman Baweja and Imran Khan respectively, the makers have gone all out in intensifying the promotional drive.

The talkie promos of both the films have been kick started since the music has already caught on well. Of course Rahman's campus sound has an edge over Anu Malik's futuristic setting with the former reigning at the top of the charts. However, LOVE STORY 2050 is only a little far behind with a promise to move further up once the film sees its theatrical release.

But what happens to THODA PYAAR THODA MAGIC, a biggie which arrives on coming Friday? Isn't it a kind of film that makes a cut into 'must-watch' list amongst the audience? Frankly, as of now, it doesn't! The promos from start till this very moment have hardly been enticing and except for a stray 'Lazy Lamhe' that made on sit up and take notice, THODA PYAAR THODA MAGIC appears to be yet another addition into the feel good films being churned out by Yash Raj Films in the years gone by.

Of course, one can't discount the fact that Kunal Kohli does come with two hits under his belt (HUM TUM, FANAA) which means that THODA PYAAR THODA MAGIC cannot be ruled out immediately. However, the pre-release buzz is completely missing that makes one suspect the kind of opening that the film would get. It doesn't appear that this Saif Ali Khan-Rani Mukherjee starrer would enjoy an earth shattering opening and it would require some real push and word of mouth to make it gather some momentum before the first weekend comes to an end.

However, with the kind of speculation/apprehensions one has about THODA PYAAR THODA MAGIC, it is imperative that audience looks forward to what's in store on 4th July once JAANE TU YA JAANE NAA and LOVE STORY 2050 arrive!
