BHOOTHNATH DVD release with 50 days celebration

Makers of BHOOTHNATH and Moser Baer have decided to celebrate the film's successful 50 days run with its DVD release. As the film enters into its 8th week tomorrow, the DVDs hit the stands today all over the country.
When released, the film was called off by many as a below average affair that didn't seem promising enough to continue on a long run. However, after an ordinary first week run, this Amitabh Bachchan starrer managed to sustain itself at the box office and enjoyed consistent collections over the weeks. As of today, the film has netted over 25 crores just from India and is a comfortable average success.
The film now has acted as a directorial launch pad for new-find Vivek Sharma who now has many more promising projects lined up to shoot in months to come. Also, the film is second consecutive solo success for Amitabh Bachchan after CHEENI KUM.
With children being the film's target audience and the DVDs arriving at dirt cheap price of Rs. 50/-, BHOOTHNATH is bound to enjoy a long run amongst the audience.
