Rahul Bose has always been a trendsetter of sorts. Be it in his award winning performances for MR& MRS IYER or SHAURYA or his commercial comic genius in PYAAR KE SIDE EFFECTS or receiving rave reviews for his Hollywood film BEFORE THE RAINS, Rahul's always wowed his audience.
And keeping that tradition in mind, Rahul Bose is now all set to take you for a sixer! Hey don't get us wrong, the actor hasn't taken over to cricket after Rugby. It is heard that Bose is going to enact six different characters in Venus' next outing MAAN GAYE MUGHAL-E-AZAM, produced films by Ratan Jain. This is for the first time that Rahul Bose plays a character with six different shades. And they are -Arjun a daredevil officer of RAW, Prince 'Salim' the lover boy of 'Anarkali', 'Basheer Basterd' the illegitimate gangster of the underworld, 'Hyderabadi Nawab' who relishes chewing his pan very loudly, 'Goongabhai', a dumb deputy of dreaded underworld don and a bodyguard of tough underworld don.
For Rahul Bose, it was a challenge to enact the six different characters. As for director Sanjay Chhel, he knew that only one actor could do justice to the role and that was Rahul Bose.
