After Himesh Reshammiya (TOM DOCK and HARRY, AKSAR and many more) and Pritam (LIFE IN A...METRO), composer duo of Siddharth and Suhaas too has faced the camera for a film of theirs. BHRAM is the movie in question which is produced by Magna Films and directed by Pawan Kaul.
Confirms Siddharth, "There are a couple of songs in the film where both Suhaas and me get to play ourselves. Both 'Teri Aankhon Ki Narmi' and 'I Am A Bad Boy' are club party numbers where we have let our hair down. We get into a rock mode with guitar in tow and the works."
Are these numbers only for the promotional purpose or they feature in the film too?
"The songs are very much in the film while featuring Dino Morea. ‘I Am A Bad Boy' compliments the mood and demand of urban youth and has Suraj Jagan, Earl D'Souza, Sunaina and Khushboo Jain with both us also coming together."
He adds, "However, 'Teri Aankhon Ki Narmi' is a number sung entirely by Suhaas and myself. It's a rock track with a rhythm of 'Shana Na Na Na' being its driving force. The song has a mix of Hindi and English lyrics and is surely going to keep your feet on the dance floor."
BHRAM has six songs in total with Pritam being the guest composer with two tracks to his name - 'Jaane Kaisa Hai Tu' and 'Jaane Kyun Tanha Ho Gaye'. Apart from 'Teri Aankhon Ki Narmi' and 'I Am A Bad Boy', Siddharth-Suhas have also composed 'Meri Akhiyaan' and 'Lagdaa Naa Lagdaa'. While 'Meri Akhiyaan' has a folk flavor to it, 'Lagdaa Naa Lagdaa' carries on the rock mood of the album.
Releasing on 28th March, BHRAM stars Dino Morea and Milind Soman along with supermodel Sheetal Menon who makes her big screen debut with the film.
