'Javed Akhtar is young at heart'- Samar Khan!

The much-awaited music of Samar Khan's April release, SHAURYA, was launched in Bombay on 10th March. Present on the occasion were the lead artists, Rahul Bose, Minissha Lamba, Javed Jaffery, director Samar Khan, lyricist Javed Akhtar and composer-singer Adnan Sami.
When we spoke to the SHAURYA director Samar Khan about his choice of Javed Akhtar as the lyricist to team up with Adnan Sami, whose music is youthful and somewhat westernized, the talented director had something interesting to tell us. As per Samar, "Our aim was to have songs that are interwoven into the script and no one better than Javed Akhtar to do that. The best thing about Javed Sahab is that he is very flexible and is always open to ideas and suggestions. And unlike his usual serious and dignified persona, he is very young at heart!"
Well, after listening to the superb compositions of SHAURYA, we must say that Samar's decision of teaming up Adnan Sami and Javed Akhtar has proved to be hundred percent correct.
