The IPO market has been blowing hot and cold for sometimes now. After a spate of public issues from the corporate world, it is now the turn of the cineworld to delve into it. While Subhash Ghai's Mukta Arts is already listed, many other big names connected with the industry have shown a keen interest. In fact, the T-Series head honcho; Bhushan Kumar has already expressed his desire and is thinking in terms of going public.
As per the buzz, (for a while now) the latest in the list is going to be Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment, which may soon go in for an IPO. The share market experts tell us that King Khan plans to go public soon. And will use the money raise from the public issues to fund the operations of his recently acquired Kolkata team (Knight Riders) for the Indian Premier League matches.
So, will Bollywood's global superstar grace the front pages of the pink papers in the days to come? Just wait and watch this space!
