PVR Pictures, whose last production TAARE ZAMEEN PAR is still getting a steady flow of audience, has picked up another film and would be giving it an All-India release. The film in question is SHAURYA, which is directed by Samar Khan.
Known for their taste in quality films and giving them their due release (they showed confidence earlier in LOINS OF PUNJAB and the reception the film fetched was for everyone to see), PVR Pictures' name is associated with cinema which is not just 'different' but also aims at making a 'difference'.
Coming to SHAURYA, the film is carrying good reports about being a thoughtful entertainer. The film also promises to enlighten and make one walk along the journey of a wronged man (Deepak Dobriyal) and his defenders (Rahul Bose, Minissha Lamba).
SHAURYA also stars Javed Jaffrey, Kay Kay Menon and Seema Biswas along with Rozza Catalano and Amrita Rao in special appearances. With music by Adnan Sami, the film is looking at a 4th April release.
