After being stuck in the cans for years, Tanuja Chandra's HOPE AND A LITTLE SUGAR is finally getting ready for release. Indications are that the film is aiming at an April/May release timeframe.
An English film, which has been ready for close to two years, HOPE AND A LITTLE SUGAR, deals with an emotional drama against the backdrop of the events of 9/11. Starring Mahima Choudhary and Anupam Kher as the central protagonists, HOPE AND A LITTLE SUGAR also features Suhasini Mulay, Vikram Chatwal, Ranjit Choudhary and Amit Sial in key roles.
Since it's completion, the film has been making a round of festival circuits and traveled Italy, New York and Pakistan apart from India. Now finally audience would be able to see the film as it gets a regular release at select theaters across the country.
