It's official. Pakistani film KHUDA KE LIYE is now definitely releasing in India and the promotion for the same is catching up on speed.

Confirmed for a 4th April arrival at the box office, KHUDA KE LIYE would mark a new chapter in the history of cinema coming from sub-continent as this would be first Pakistani film after decades which would be hitting upon Indian shores.

Though the film would be having a selective release, an interesting campaign is being designed to make sure that it manages to appeal to its target audience.

An English-Urdu film directed by Shoaib Mansoor which was released in Pakistan in July 2007, KHUDA KE LIYE has won many awards, including the Award for Best Picture at 31st Cairo International Film Festival. It is also the highest grossing film of Pakistan of all time.

The film's lead is debutant Iman Ali, who plays an Anglo Pakistani. Ahmed Jahanzeb and Shuja Haider produce the film's soundtrack. KHUDA KE LIYE also stars Naseruddin Shah in a key role.
