MEHBOOBA - A grand spectacle

A decade in the making, MEHBOOBA is finally going to see the light of the day. However, unlike many other films which threaten to carry a dated look due to a delay, MEHBOOBA throws quite a surprise due to its spectacular look and scale.
The first look of the film is out and one has to admit that the film carries the kind of grandeur which does make one sit up and take notice of the film. Set on a huge canvas, the film boasts of expensive sets, larger than life portrayal of its lead actors (Sanjay Dutt, Ajay Devgan, Manisha Koirala), eye catchy cinematography and some breath taking action. Agreed that the film does carry the 90s flavour to it, what with hundreds of dancers in the background, but all of this only adds on to the visual appeal, hence adding on to the nostalgia.
A love triangle, MEHBOOBA is looking at a 6th June release with EROS International acquiring its distribution rights. MEHBOOBA is produced and directed by Afzal Khan, who had earlier produced HUM KISI SE KAM NAHI with Sanjay Dutt and Ajay Devgan along with Amitabh Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai.
