Love Stories have been an integral part of Indian Cinema for years. Raj Kapoor, Yash Chopra, Sanjay Bhansali and many more directors have shown their muse for love stories and successfully made films with their own touch and flavour, and made their place in the hearts of the audience. Simultaneously some reel life pairs came along with these movies and made history. Mithun & Ranjeeta was such a pair that rocked the world in 80's with many hits like WARDAAT, TARANA, TAQDEER KA BAADSHAH, SURAKSHA etc.

Now after 22 years or as the popular dialogue goes 'Bees Saal Baad’, the romantic pair is yet again set to burn the silver screen with a love story, ZINDAGI TERE NAAM.

The film portrays a love story which blooms in the hilly locales of Dalhousie. Two love stories run parallel in this film and unfold to show the true emotions of love and life. The film takes a turn when the boy has to go through 'agni pariksha’ and make various sacrifices. The high point of the film is the intense love for each other, and the music which lifts the movie.

The movie buffs are exited and waiting to see Mithun Chakraborty & Ranjeeta come together after 22 years, so is Mithunda himself. 'It takes me on a nostalgic drive, and reminds me of my golden days sharing screen space with Ranjeeta and romancing her on the screen. I am eagerly waiting for the release of this movie,' says Mithunda. He also compares his performance in this movie to MRIGYA and GURU. Ranjeet too is eagerly awaiting the release of ZINDAGI TERE NAAM. She was exited when she saw the promos of the film. She believes that they can still create the magic onscreen. 'Romance has no age nor does acting, and when both of them come together ZINDAGI TERE NAAM hoti hai,' says Ranjeeta.

The credit of bringing Mithunda & Ranjeeta together 'Bees Saal Baad’ goes to director Ashuu Trikha who has directed DEEWANAPAN, ALAGH and SHEESHA.
