Given its budget, theme and star cast, the Samar Khan directed SHAURYA has done wonderfully well at the ticket window, despite a very limited release. No wonder the writer (also lyricist!), Jaydeep Sarkar cannot stop smiling. For those who don't know the down to earth guy, Jaydeep has always believed that a good script will win the audience over and the success of SHAURYA has proved him right.
With his SHAURYA stint over, Jaydeep Sarkar is now focused on to his next, the Abhishek Bachchan-Priyanka Chopra starrer, DRONA. Unlike the popular perception of DRONA being a superhero flick, Sarkar describes the Goldie Behl directed SFX extravaganza as a modern fantasy. Jaydeep is confident that the audience would love its unusual story line.
