ADA - Rahman's immediate soundtrack after LAGAAN

2008 has been a great year for Rahman fans. While the maestro works on one or at most two Bollywood projects every year, 2008 has already seen the arrival of JODHAA AKBAR, JAANE TU YA JAANE NAA and also ADA... A WAY OF LIFE.
However, not many are aware that the music of ADA... A WAY OF LIFE was actually composed years back. In fact Rahman had composed the music of ADA... A WAY OF LIFE immediately after he was through with LAGAAN. It was a huge project to begin with as Amitabh Bachchan and Dilip Kumar were supposed to come together for it. Though the project never saw the light of the day over the years gone by, director Tanvir Ahmed came up with a new subject and launched ADA...A WAY OF LIFE.
Arriving as the launch pad of Tanvir's son Ayaan Ahmed, ADA...A WAY OF LIFE features Nauheed Cyrusi as the girl opposite him. The soundtrack composed years back was retained for the film and has finally being unveiled.
Slated to arrive this summer, the film also stars Ayesha Jhulka, Rahul Roy and Milind Gunaji.
