KHUSHBOO in DDLJ and JWM mode?

Is KHUSHBOO being set in DILWALE DULHANIYA LE JAYENGE and JAB WE MET mode? If the promos are anything to go by, it pretty much seems to be the case.
Just like DDLJ and JWM, KHUSHBOO too boasts of a setting where a boy and a girl meet and take a journey together. It is this journey of theirs which brings them closer to each other and realization of love starts sinking in.
Later, the guy reaches the girl's household (where else but Punjab), stays there for a few days, becomes friendly with her family and soon becomes a part of it. However, there is a twist in the tale which results in a situation of dilemma for the guy.....
A love story that promises to spread the 'fragrance' of love amidst strong family values, KHUSHBOO marks the launch of newcomers Rishi Rehan and Avantikka. A Pahlaj Nihalani production which is directed by debutant Rajesh Ram Singh, the film is confirmed for a 13th June release.
