Kumar Mangat: My daughter has made me proud

 OMKARA fame producer Kumar Mangat may have launched careers of many in Bollywood. He even promoted many movies, recent one being ONE TWO THREE. But the upcoming flick HAAL-E-DIL produced by Kumar Mangat and presented by Eros, holds a special place in Mangat's heart. And the very special reason being, the launch of his daughter Amita Pathak as the lead actress in HAAL-E-DIL.
It was Kumar Mangat's long time dream to set his daughter's career in film industry as an actress. At the music launch of the film, attended by a host of Bollywood bigwigs like Rajkumar Santoshi, Priyadarshan, Bhushan Kumar, and many more, like a proud father Mangat said his daughter has made him proud with her performance in the film. Normally a shy person, Mangat couldn't stop expressing his feelings in front of media. With eyes getting wet, he said in an emotional tone, 'I came to Mumbai in 1978 with aspirations to do something big in Bollywood and today I feel my dream has come true. I am proud of my daughter.'
Seeing her father's boundless joy even Amita got into tears. The music launch event soon seemed to be turning into a familial occasion as Adhyayan Suman (one of the leads); son of Shekhar Suman also became emotional when introduced. He couldn't resist but remember his (late) elder brother at the most important moment of his life.
Well, more than getting emotional, the event was at its grandest best with everyone praising the virgin feel of the promos presented to the media.
