If you thought that actress Masumeh was just another actress trying to establish herself in the film industry? Think again! We just discovered that Masumeh's family's roots have been based in the film industry even before she was born!
Her grandfather Parananand was a pioneer of Indian film distribution overseas. In fact Hindi films were largely distributed by him during those days. Parananand's company PLA entertainment distributed quite a few Hindi films that turned out to be box-office grossers.
"PLA entertainment, which under the direction of my uncle Gul Anand and my mother Jayashree Makhija has produced a number of films like CHASHME BADDOOR, KHATTA MEETHA, JALWA, HERO HIRALAL and CHUPKE SE," revealed Masumeh.
So Masumeh's decision to be an actress does not come as a surprise. She is currently shooting for her sister Shona Urvashi's film called SAAS, BAHU AUR SENSEX that is backed by none other than top Hollywood production house - Warner Bros.
