FASHION has turned out to be a box office success, hence ensuring that Madhur Bhandarkar continues with his winning streak. In this exclusive conversation, he talks about how he is looking at roping in other directors for making movies under his own production house Bhandarkar Entertainment.

With this production house now being firmly established after FASHION, he would be certainly making his kind of cinema even more, right?

"I can and this is why you would see more films coming out of my production house. I may take the services of outside directors too", declares Bhandarkar.

That sounds great. And what would be the bare minimum criteria for a film maker to gain an entry into his production house?

"Well, if a film maker has good ideas and subjects and can follow the same conviction and vision as me then yes, then he is most welcome. But no, I won't get into the rut of making five films in one go. I have to make movies which make sense and the others too would have to function in the kind of parameters that I do", clarifies Madhur.

In a way, it this brand Madhur in the making?

"In a way, yes", says Madhur in an honest tone, "I have to be cognizant of the fact that there is a segment of audience out there which wants to see Madhur's films. Tomorrow, after seeing a film from my production house, regardless of it being directed by me or someone else, they shouldn't stand up and say ki arrey ye madhur ko kya ho gaya. There is certain loyalty that I have earned in the world of cinema. This makes it necessary for Bhandarkar stamp to be present in my work."
