I am ready with KAALO - Wilson Louis

Wilson LouisIf maverick film maker Wilson Louis had his way, he would soon have his name entering the record books. Reason? He is perhaps the first film maker to be picking up specific time and season for setting each of his films. What makes his films special is the fact they are all set in horror–thriller genre, hence adding on to the chill.

Informs Wilson Louis, 'Principal shooting of KAALO is through and now it is getting readied for release. It is a day horror film and is about this strange creature which attacks a bus in the middle of a desert. The film has been shot prominently in Jaisalmer'

'LONAVALA KHANDALA GHAT is also ready and would release next. This one is basically a night horror film. It is based in a haunted place, a villa where a real life couple was actually slaughtered more than 100 years back. Legend is that their souls are still wandering in this villa', details Wilson.

So what next is in the pipeline?

'While I am looking forward to the release of KAALO and LONAVALA KHANDALA GHAT, I am already neck deep into pre–production of my next film. It is going to be a rain horror flick. I should be beginning shooting for this film soon', says Wilson.

The writer–director started off his big screen career with HO SAKTA HAI and now becomes the only filmmaker in Bollywood who has three films set in day, night and rain setting. With so many back to back horror flicks that he is directing it seems that this genre is indeed his favorite?

'You are right', agrees Wilson, 'I love making horror flicks. For me it's also a quest to know more about supernatural. Though I am open to working in other genres as well, horror gives me a definite high.'
