Unbelievable as it may sound, but Yash Raj Films are supremely confident of their animated film, the Jugal Hansraj directed ROADSIDE ROMEO (RSR), which has already released worldwide.
Infact after their latest hit, BACHNA AE HASEENO, its RSR that has seen the best publicity campaign off late for any of their ventures. Credit must be given to the YRF partner, Walt Disney Pictures who have been instrumental in a publicity blitzkrieg of sorts on their leading kid's channel, Disney Channel.
The mood is upbeat at the Yash Raj studios, despite a big starcast film like HEROES releasing alongside it. So, where does this confidence emanate from?
Well, who better than actor turned director, Jugal Hansraj to disclose the secret behind the confident mood. The MASOOM sweetheart and MOHABBATEIN heartthrob says that his film is a simple love story and the concept is novel. It is not based on or inspired by mythology, as has been the recent trend in Bollywood (especially after the success of MY FRIEND GANESHA). Jugal adds that the USP of the film is the voiceovers of top stars like Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor and also Javed 'Egjactly' Jaffrey who have done a marvellous job and the public (especially children) will be able to identify and relate to their voices.
