Salman Khan is one such person who loves taking challenges as far as his role for a film is concerned. For the very first time in his career Salman Khan is playing a 'Sardar' and also an army officer in Director Samir Karnik's upcoming film HEROES. Salman plays each character of his with such plan that it seems like he is born to play such characters.
Like Akshay Kumar to keep the authenticity of the character (who had grown his beard for his character of Sardar in SINGH IS KINNG) even Salman grew his beard and followed some important elements of Sikh religion. If the reports are to be believed than Salman decided to refrain from smoking whenever he was in his Sikh getup. He didn't smoke during the shoot of the film.
Produced by Vikas Kapoor the film also stars Preity Zinta, Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Sohail Khan, Mithun Chakraborty, Vatsal Seth, Riya Sen, Amrita Arora among others. The film has music by Sajid Wajid & Monty Sharma.
The film is set in an episodic mode. HEROES is a story of two boys who start their road trip from Delhi to Chandigarh and then Manali to Ladhakh. On their journey these boys come across certain real life characters played by Salman, Preity, Sohail, Sunny and Bobby on this road trip and these people have such an affect that the seed of heroism blooms within them. Basically, the story is about this drastic change in the lives of these two boys.
