ROCK ON has an excellent second week

ROCK ON continues to do exceedingly well at theaters all over. After a terrific first week, the film has done very well in the second week as well with third weekend beginning on a promising note too.
In it's first week, ROCK ON had fetched very good collections with a 9.5 crores billing. Even though the film had C KKOMPANY, CHAMKU and MUKHBIIR for company, ROCK ON was a one horse race as it went from strength to strength throughout the week.
Now even in it's second week, the film has defied all competition coming from the likes of A WEDNESDAY (which by the way has performed well too on it's limited release), HIJACK (which has flopped) and TAHAAN (which hasn't even managed to breathe free ever since it's release). Boasting of collections which are better than the sum total of all the three films released in the week gone by), ROCK ON has hardly seen a drop when compared with the first week and netted close to 8 crores more.
An Abhishek Kapoor directed film which is already a HIT, it may well turn out to be SUPERHIT if it continues the same way for 10 more days. Now that's pretty much possible since except for 1920 (which has taken a good start at the box office and is seemingly a safe bet for Vikram Bhatt), THE LAST LEAR as well as RU BA RU have failed to create any excitement amongst the cine-goers. This means that the road is clear for ROCK ON to further make a rocking impression.
With small films like WELCOME TO SAJJANPUR, SAAS BAHU AUR SENSEX and HULLA being the only competition in the next weekend, ROCK ON has all the time in the world to continue earning moolah!
