Himesh Reshammiya: There was no point in giving justifications

Ever since Himesh Reshammiya turned actor with AAP KAA SUROOR - THE MOVIEE a couple of years back, there has been an ongoing buzz around the actor-composer-singer. Barely did a single fortnight went by when the man didn't create news. Whether it was his look or styling or music or acting or his sheer self confidence, everything about Himesh Reshammiya was followed closely.
However, things changed once KARZZZZ hit the screens. Suddenly, there was dead silence post the release of the film and there wasn't much news about the man who ruled the music scene for two years on a trot before turning actor. Speculations were abound that his films were getting shelved. Also, these were supposed to be not just the ones for which the shooting was yet to begin but even the ones that were already on floors.
In fact rumors never ceased to die down with talks about KAJRAARE (a film for which the publicity stills too were out around the release of KARZZZZ) being put on hold indefinitely. Though makers of the film did deny the theory about the film being shelved, rumor mongers were continuing to have a field day.

While everyone wondered about the silence of Himesh Reshammiya, it has turned out that he was only busy immersing himself with more work. So much so that today, not just two of his films are almost ready to be complete, the third film of his is all set to get on floors in quick time.
Says a friend close to Himesh, ''Himesh was just observing how things were going around him. He chose not to react to any stories or idle gossips because instead of getting into debates and clarifying on rumors, he wanted to concentrate on his work. He knows that he is only two films old in the industry and also never shies away from working hard on his acting and look. Wait for a few more months; he will be back with a bang.''
One does expect a mega comeback from Himesh Reshammiya, especially so when he declares that two of his films are nearing completion.
''The talkie portion of John Mathew Mathan's A NEW LOVE ISHTORY is already complete. In fact after the shooting of the film's songs, we will be through with the film's shoot. It is a nice romantic comedy and John has done exceedingly well with this genre'', says Himesh Reshammiya who opens up after much persuasion.
He also declares that KAJRAARE is very much on and only one final schedule of the film remains.
''I just didn't want to react even when some out there thought that the film was shelved. What was the point in giving justifications when I knew the truth that the film was very much on'', questions Himesh Reshammiya who has worked with Pooja Bhatt in the film.

He adds, ''Pooja Bhatt is a very good director. I am looking forward to the last schedule of the film which would take place in April/May. Just a fortnight more of work and we would be all set with KAJRAARE after that.''
Himesh is also particularly excited about the Studio 18 film which has come on floors. ''The film is titled ISHQ UNPLUGGED and I am already busy shooting for it. It's directed by Swapna Joshi and is a romantic comedy'', he says.
With multiple films starring Himesh Reshammiya indeed progressing smoothly, it should be a matter of time before the man of the masses is back!
