Irrfan Khan leaves Mahie Gill impressed

Mahie Gill is going places after the critical acclaim she has got for her roles in Anurag Kashyaps' films DEV D and GULAAL. The beautiful starlet's next release is Tigmanshu Dhulia's PAAN SINGH TOMAR where her co-star is Irrfan Khan. The film is all set to release on August 28th and tells the true story of a gifted runner turned rebel.

Mahie is back from its long schedule in Rajasthan and just can't stop raving about her co-star Irrfan Khan who plays her hubby in the film. She says, ''Irrfan has been one of my favourite actors. Working with him has been dream come true of sorts for me. He is such an amazing actor and is so witty that he made me laugh like mad. But at the same time, when it came to acting, he got really serious and focused. That's where his versatility lies. He may be a respected star in India but worldwide he is appreciated much for his body of work in Hollywood projects like SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE and MIGHTY HEART. Just to say I worked with him makes me proud. It was a pleasure working with him and being his co-star.''
Elaborating more about her role in PAAN SINGH TOMAR, Mahie says, ''My character has different shades which get revealed further as the story moves ahead. Beyond this I can't reveal much more now.''
Apart from this, Mahie Gill is also working in Indrajit Nattooji's AAGE SE RIGHT co-starring Shreyas Talpade.
