Around a year back when Boney Kapoor's POKKIRI remake was still on the floors, we had the privilege of breaking the news to our patrons that the working title of the film was WANTED DEAD AND ALIVE. We had also elaborated about the strange title. Just to recall the reason is that Salman (in the film) is wanted dead by a certain gang while another gang wants him alive! Well, the official title of the film is now WANTED, as DEAD AND ALIVE has been dropped in order to keep the title simple and easy to understand for the not so literate audience.

CHECK OUT: WANTED Movie Preview

Reliable trade sources are of the view that WANTED would indeed turn out to be Salman's comeback vehicle, and this confidence stems from the two superb trailers that they have had the privilege of viewing just a few days back. The trailers show Salman in his true elements, he looks good and fit and carries out the action sequences with aplomb. And so it appears that Boney Kapoor has a winner on hands with Salman, yet again after the super-hit, NO ENTRY.

However, Salman's last hit was David Dhawan's PARTNER in 2007, and after that it had been a downhill journey for the star of the masses, as most of his films flopped. And what must be taken into account is the fact that during the current times when multiplexes bring in the maximum moolah, Salman's fan base, which is basically (and mostly) single screen dominated, would find it difficult to tide over his films, unlike his TERE NAAM and GARV, that sailed through due to stupendous run at these cinemas. But for the sake of his loyal fans we wish that Salman would strike back with a vengeance and reclaim his lost glory and once again rule Bollywood like some of his more illustrious colleagues.
