When Kangna met Sona

Kangna is all charged up for her role in upcoming Milan Lutharia's film ONCE UPON A LIFE TIME. The film is said to be based on the then don of the city Haji Mastan's life whose role is being essayed by none other than Ajay Devgan. While Kangna plays his love interest in the film. Yesteryear actress Sona, who resembled late actress Madhubala, was don's love interest.
Kangna will be portraying Sona's character in the film. For that matter Kangna decided to meet the yesteryear actress before taking on the role as she wanted to know the details and nuances of that character. Sources inform that when Kangna met her, Sona advised Kangna to watch the films of 70's & 80's when actresses like Sharmila Tagore, Hema Malini, Asha Parekh were at the top. Sona also advised her to learn how these actresses dressed and carried themselves.

The film explores the growth of underworld in the city, in 70s and 80s. Apart from Ajay & Kangna the film will also star Emraan Hashmi & Prachi Desai and is expected to go on floors in May. Most of the film will be shot in the city itself, except for a few sequences which will be shot in Dubai and Bangkok.
This is not the first time that Kangna is playing the role of a gangster's moll. She played a similar kind of role in Mahesh Bhatt's GANGSTER also.
Apart from this, the pretty actress is also looking forward to KITES with Hrithik Roshan and Samir Karnik's YEH VAADA RAHA opposite Bobby Deol.
