Arshad Warsi is happy that EK SE BURE DO has arrived and gone. This small time film which featured him along with Rajpal Yadav was a complete reject at the box office when released last week. However, for Arshad it was a blessing in disguise that it arrived sans any fanfare and vanished without creating a whimper.
''EK SE BURE DO marks an end to all my backlog films'', says Arshad with a sigh of relief. Very recently he was also seen in another small time film called KISSE PYAAR KAROON which was yet another film that had taken years to reach the completion mark and had disappeared from the box office in less than a week's time.
''No more pending stock remaining though'', laughs Arshad Warsi, ''It's time to bring on some good stuff from here on.''
CHECK OUT: Arshad sports a dark look for ISHQIYAN
He has a lot to look forward to in months to come, as evident from the line up that he has in hand. These films are SHORTKUT - THE CON IS ON, ISHQIYA and KAUN BOLA.
''Now that's one bunch of films I am really excited about'', beams Arshad Warsi, ''SHORTKUT - THE CON IS ON is ready but we are waiting for the right release period. It was being considered around March but then was pushed due to the exam season. Now due to the stand off between producers and multiplexes, there hasn't been a choice but to look at later release timing.''
He is also glad to be a part of diverse films like ISHQIYA and KAUN BOLA.
''ISHQIYA has shaped up very well and I am proud to be associated with it. It is quality cinema. As for KAUN BOLA, it is my home production so I am having a soft corner for it'', smiles Arshad.
