Tanushree Dutta: There is more appeal in hiding than showing skin

She made quite a few men say 'Aashiq Banaya Aapne' more than three years back with her Bollywood debut flick. Ever since then Tanushree Dutta has continued to sizzle but currently she is making heads turn with a fitter and better look. Result? Tanushree Dutta is looking forward to the rest of 2009 and making sure that she is expected to be the talk of the town for many more months to come. The young woman took a sabbatical in 2008 (with SAAS BAHU AUR SENSEX being her sole release), only to reassess her plans for 2009.
Is Tanushree, with this fitter look, following any particular regime? ''For last few months, I have been following a good routine and have become more conscious about my health and figure. I have toned up as well as lost weight. I have been doing work outs on a regular basis and my focus now is to look good, stay fit and wear clothes that suit me best!'' Avows Tanushree.

So size zero is on the way?
But Tanushree holds a different view, ''No ways! I don't think I will ever be a size zero. In fact even when I was loosing weight, I was sure that I didn't want to go to an extent where I turned into size zero. Even people prefer me in full size and that's the way I want to do be. Over and above that, I just wish to work with complete conviction; that should keep me happy.''
But frankly, considering the distance Tanushree's contemporaries are going today; one feels that she is still holding herself back a little when it comes to her recent photo shoots. Tanushree defends, ''I think you can go on to be a lot bolder if you are close to size zero. When you are fuller, you have to draw a line somewhere. Same holds good for me as well due to the kind of body structure that I have. So for me to pose in front of a camera and wear a particular kind of outfit, I have to tread the path carefully. An inch here or there and you end up crossing the fine line between being sexy and vulgar. Moreover, as the adage goes, there is more appeal in hiding than showing skin!''
