Katrina goes BLUE only for friendship!

Shree Ashtavinayak's action-adventure BLUE boasts of an ensemble cast of Sanjay Dutt, Akshay Kumar, Lara Dutta, Katrina Kaif (special appearance), Rahul Dev and Zayed Khan. When the film was announced there was a buzz that top actress Katrina Kaif had been paid an unheard of figure for just appearing in an item number for the movie. And sources also started touting Katrina as the highest paid item girl in Bollywood.

However, this proved to be totally false as Katrina is doing BLUE not for money but for friendship. And she is essaying a very special appearance (apart from a song) in BLUE, and the reason behind this is her friendship with the team and the makers of BLUE, especially Shree Ashtavinayak Cinevision Ltd., who gave Katrina her first major hit in the form of David Dhawan's MAINE PYAR KYUN KIYA. This was confirmed by the numero uno actress, who accepted in a recent interview that she is doing BLUE only because of friendship. On a lighter vein (taking a friendly dig at her favourite co-star, Akshay), she added that she does not have any relationship (friendship or enmity) with the sharks! It may be added for the sake of those who are unaware that action king, Akshay Kumar was involved in a near fatal accident while filming for a dangerous underwater sequence with the sharks in BLUE.
Well, Katrina you sure are a true friend, one who does not forget the ones from the struggling/starting days!
