Shemaroo Entertainment releases 99 - the comedy hit of the year 2009 - on DVDS and VCDs. This rib ticking hilarious film can serve as a perfect Sunday treat to be watched at your homes.
99 caught on very successfully at the box office and received some brilliant reviews. There is no doubt that the VCDs and DVDs are waiting to occupy the shelves of audiences at their homes.
The film certainly has a mass appeal with its engrossing plot and a cast that any comedy flick would love to have - Kunal Khemu, Soha Ali Khan, Cyrus Broacha, Mahesh Manjrekar, Vinod Khanna, Simone Singh and Amit Mistry - all of whom, have delivered superb performances. Each of these characters in the film has a peculiar trait in them, which make their roles totally entertaining.
As the name suggests, the movie is PART FUN. PART FICTION. PURE FUN. The story is about 2 small time Mumbai crooks Sachin and Zaramud, who get into a big trouble with dangerous bookie AGM and end up working for him.
99 is an original story inspired by real events. Set in the year 1999, it is an unpredictable and comical ride spread over 2 cities, as the players go after elusive run to make a 'century', in life. Being stuck at 99 just doesn't cut it. Because everyone remembers a century!
