The king of thrillers Abbas-Mustan's first home production, LIFE PARTNER, is all ready for release. The film is a social family drama with a heavy dose of comedy. So, the first question that comes to mind is why did the men in white, Abbas-Mustan, chose a comedy as their first home production when their forte is suspense-thriller? The answer was an extremely balanced one, a logic which no one can question!
CHECK OUT: LIFE PARTNER is just not comedy!
The director of super hits like KHILADI, BAAZIGAR and RACE informed us that it was the script that made them take their first step into production. The director Rumi Jaffery came to them with a script that was entertaining and different from the films that are being churned out. When questioned further as to why they did not chose a thriller as their first home production, they said that they did not believe in sticking to any particular genre, and it was their belief in the superb script, along with Rumi Jaffery, who they consider a brilliant director, which was more than enough to convince them .
Well, surely we are convinced and are pretty certain that after watching a full time entertainer like LIFE PARTNER, the audience too would agree with us whole heartedly!
