Normally a filmmaker heaves a sigh of relief when his film releases on time but our producer Boney Kapoor's case is absolutely different. Infact Boney is considering himself 'LUCKY' nowadays and is a much-relieved man as his much touted film WANTED release date was pushed further.
Our source reveals on the same, ''Boney is literally thanking his stars that he didn't rush to release his upcoming next starring Salman Khan, WANTED on August 7th. His action thriller, the remake of Tamil super hit POKKIRI was scheduled to release on August 7, but then he decided to change it few weeks later to September 18th to take the advantage of the Eid week.''
''Now had WANTED released on August 7th, it would have had to bear the brunt of the cinema closure in Pune (from 10th to 18th August) and in Bombay-Thane (from 13th to 16th August).'' our source adds.
A much relieved Boney was heard saying, ''I would be dead had I released my film on 7th. I don't know why I moved my release date ahead, but I thank God, I postponed the release.''
