Vidya Balan: Abhishek brings in an intuitive acting experience

Vidya Balan would be seen playing Amitabh Bachchan's mother in PAA. However, she is all eyes for Abhishek Bachchan who plays her husband in the film. She doesn't just considers him as a terrific actor who is yet to be explored by many a film maker, she also finds 'something magical' in his eyes that sets him apart from the rest of the ilk.
"When PAA came to me, working with Mr. Bachchan was a definite incentive. However, the fact remains that I was actually looking forward to working with Abhishek too. We both have acted in GURU earlier and I know for sure that he is a fantastic co-actor", gushes Vidya.

Vidya is particularly impressed about his 'no rehearsal' stand that results in an 'intuitive' acting experience.
"Since Abhishek doesn't rehearse, you don't really know what is he going to do when the director calls for a shot", informs Vidya, "When a take is called, there is so much give and take that actors exchange. This is why when he starts delivering his dialogues; you react in a way that was probably never planned. It eventually helps you bring about something intuitive."
However, Vidya isn't flustered by the surprises that Abhishek throws when during a scene.
"Yes, he is instinctive but then there is this intrinsic honesty to his act as well. He always tries to do something that enhances a scene. Also, there is something so magical about his eyes which have a language of their own. This is something that I had said even during the time of GURU and I am glad that he has retained this quality even after all these years", Vidya says in admiration of her co-star.
Also starring Paresh Rawal in a key role, PAA, which is a co-production of AB Corp. and Sunil Manchanda (who has earlier made CHEENI KUM, SALAAM-E-ISHQ and TERE NAAM, releases this Friday i.e. 4th December 2009.
