SRK on changing BILLU BARBER to BILLU: Ours is a non-controversial film

Shah Rukh Khan doesn't want people from any community to feel offended by his film. This is why he has readily decided to change the rename his film BILLU BARBER to just BILLU. The recent developments come in the wake of Salon and Hairdressers union protesting the usage of word 'barber' in the film's title, which they found to be offensive.
''See, Censors had cleared the film and even before making of the film we had made sure that 'barber' is not considered as an offensive term. Still, today if they have an issue with it, I don't want to hurt them. Ours is a non-controversial film and I want the film to be loved by the audience. If I have to do something as simple as changing the title, I will do that'', says Shah Rukh Khan.

Though he is going all out to remove the word from the film's print as well, he confesses that he won't be able to do much about the 250 odd prints that have already been sent overseas. ''The film is now distributor's property and all I can do is request them to make the changes. No one is legally bound though since Censors have passed the film but at least for the prints that I have with me currently, I will either remove the words completely or dub them with a sound.''
He also plans to put a sticky over the word 'barber' in the posters and other print material that have already been sent out.
''That's all I can do. However, for the music CDs that have already been bought by the audience, I can't go to their houses and replace them, right'', he quips, ''Anyways, I don't intend to hurt anyone and my production house will do everything that is possible to keep people happy.''
