| It has been a couple of weeks since the release of LUCK BY CHANCE but accolades haven't stopped coming in for Sanjay Kapoor. It was expected that the trio of Farhan Akhtar, Hrithik Roshan and Rishi Kapoor would certainly deliver goods in the Zoya Akhtar directed film but not many were even aware about Sanjay Kapoor's presence in the film.
Very much a surprise element of the film who announced his presence in the industry loud and clear with a hilarious performance, Sanjay Kapoor is today back in the reckoning as an actor even as he is busy wrapping up his maiden production IT'S MY LIFE.

''When I consented to do LUCK BY CHANCE, I did not plan it the way ki chalo comedy karte hain because it's the IN thing'', Sanjay confesses, ''At the end of the day, a performance is a performance and if the film is good it will run, otherwise it won't. For me, the film's theme mattered and when I looked at the package, I thought that it would be worth a comeback.''
So Sanjay, the actor is back?
''Of course yes, I can sense that it should be quite good from here on for me as an actor'', Sanjay can't stop grinning from ear to ear here, ''I feel that it is a new avenue opening up for me. And why only comedy, I know that film makers can cast me in a negative role or even a romantic role. And then of course there are comedy roles too.''
