The extremely versatile Divya Dutta is very busy with almost a dozen films in hands. Receiving all round accolades for her superlative performance in Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's DELHI 6, Divya is now looking forward to other films such as HISSSS, LOVE KHICHDI, CHARGESHEET, HELLO DARLING, MUMMYJI and CHEHRE, amongst others.
Last year was a good one for Divya as her carefree, 'standing for her rights' act in Shyam Benegal's sleeper hit, WELCOME TO SAJJANPUR, won a lot of hearts and of course, Rituparno Ghosh's THE LAST LEAR, where she delivered a mind-blowing performance despite the presence of superstars like Amitabh Bachchan and Preity Zinta.

Divya is especially excited about Jennifer Lynch's HISSSS where she shares screen space with the hot and sexy Mallika Sherawat. Dismissing all rumours of not going along well with Mallika, Divya says that Mallika is a very chilled out actress and the two vibed very well. However, when questioned as to who her favourite star is, now that she has had the privilege to work with superstars like Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Ajay Devgan, Abhishek Bachchan etc, Divya very undiplomatically states that SRK is her favourite co-star!
Relating an incident from a scene on the sets of VEER ZARA where she broke a dilapidated charpoy (while shooting) when she sat on it, Divya says that even now when she meets Shah Rukh, they share a good laugh over it and SRK keeps pulling her leg!
