Sanjay Kapoor: Movie making isn't about 25 mein banayo, 40 mein becho

| There is a lot happening in the lives of Kapoors. Anil Kapoor is ecstatic with the Oscar success of SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE, Sonam Kapoor has recently seen the release of DELHI 6 and in the middle of all of this, Sanjay Kapoor has won accolades for his performance in LUCK BY CHANCE. However, this is not all as each of them has moved on, especially Sanjay Kapoor who is back on the helm of production of his IT'S MY LIFE which is already more than 80% complete.
''It was an enjoyable outing as an actor in LUCK BY CHANCE. I will continue to act as well; however, currently the focus in on shooting IT'S MY LIFE which is on the verge of completion. I am very happy with what has been shot and can't wait to get hold of the final print'', says Sanjay Kapoor whose debut production is back in Delhi for its final leg.

How has the experience been as a producer?
''Believe me, I am enjoying every moment of production. I feel liberated'', exhales Sanjay, ''There is so much happening every moment, every second. Moreover, I always wanted to make a film as a film maker and not as a corporate house. I didn't want to just put money in a film and being content as long as profits were coming in. I firmly believe that movie making isn't about 25 mein banayo, 40 mein becho (invest 25 crores and get back 40 crores).
So how involved has he been as a producer?
''At practically every stage of film making'', responds Sanjay, ''Anees (Bazmee) is certainly the captain of the ship while I am there at every step as well, right from music to the costumes. I am enjoying playing hands on role while being creatively involved with the film too.''
