Gul Panag: In RANN, my character represents the youth of India

Gul Panag is one of the many known faces in the multi starrer RANN that features the likes of Amitabh Bachchan, Paresh Rawal, Ritiesh Deshmukh, Rajat Kapoor, Manisha Koirala. Even though the film is yet to go on floors, Gul is sure that her character would be noticed in the film because of its contemporary nature. While even Ram Gopal Varma says that her character represents the youth of India, how much of that is indeed true?
"Yes, my character does represent the youth of India. I am the common voice of the people that represents the attitude of the masses, especially in current times. It is the attitude of the educated masses and what goes on around them", says Gul who would be working with the film maker for the first time ever.

So is officially her biggest film ever? She winks while replying, "Well, pending another announcement, this one is by far the biggest ever. Tomorrow something even more interesting may come over as well so stay tuned."
Does it indicate that we are looking at something bigger and better round the corner for her? "Yes, I am talking to some interesting film makers and the conversations have been quite rewarding to say the least. That's all I can say for now. 2009 has just begun and we may be having some official announcements soon", talks Gul who would also be seen in STRAIGHT a few weeks from now. Other than these two films, Gul would also be seen in HELLO DARLING, PHIR ZINDAGI, ANUBHAV and EK RECTANGULAR LOVE STORY this year.
