Bikini Babe Minissha replaces Amrita?

After WELCOME TO SAJJANPUR, Amrita Rao finds Shyam Bengal khaas . So it did come as a surprise to learn that Amrita turned down a role in his next film titled ABBA KA KUA. Apparently, Amu didn't want to jump into the same kua all over again - you know playing the same young rural girl et al. 'I dare not say no to Mr. Benegal,' retorts Amrita, when we called to chat up. 'Working with him has been the biggest high of my career. It also got me a nomination at one of the awards,' says Rao.
So, the truth is that Amrita hasn't been offered this role at all. Anyway, it's Minissha Lamba who has been signed on to play Benegal's gaon ki chori . From sporting that bikini in KIDNAP, the girl will now be dressed in ghaghra choli. Minissha, we hear, was so excited that it hardly took her a few seconds to jump into this kua. What to do? Our actors also like to get all arty-sharty sometimes! It's cool, you see!
