DCH: One film Chetan Bhagat would love to have scripted!

Chetan Bhagat, the famous author who became a well known name for the Hindi film lovers after HELLO, based on his bestseller, One Night @ Call Centre, is now in the news for Vidhu Vinod Chopra's 3 IDIOTS, starring Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor, which takes the basic idea from another of his novels.
With HELLO turning out to be a no-show at the box office, all eyes are now focused on the Rajkumar Hirani directed 3 IDIOTS, the shooting of which is currently on in full swing in Bangalore, with the lead star Aamir Khan residing at IIM Bangalore to get a first hand experience of hostel life of a management student. Chetan himself has high hopes from 3 IDIOTS and has full confidence in Aamir Khan and Rajkumar Hirani that they will do justice to his book and it will come up trumps at the box office. And naturally with the success ratio of both Aamir and Hirani, Chetan's hopes are not unfounded.

However when asked about one film that he would have loved to have scripted, his answer was Farhan Akhtar's iconic DIL CHAHTA HAI, which till date remains his favourite Hindi film.
