Adhyayan Suman gives credit to his directors Raksha Mistry and Hasnain Hyderabadwala for making JASHNN a quality film. However, he is quick to announce that in heart and soul, this dramatic musical outing is an outright Mahesh Bhatt film.

''Yes, there is no denying the fact that at the end of it all, JASHNN is a Mahesh Bhatt film'', announces Adhyayan, ''Of course one can't take away from Raksha and Hasnain because there is quite a lot to be done by a director during making of a film. His/her job is so much more since they have to look at the bigger setup. In this regard, these were the very people who were in command at the sets and called the shots.''

However, he goes on to add that when it came to explaining the scenes and getting the right emotions in place as desired by the characters, it was Mahesh Bhatt who pretty led the show.

''True, he was helping all the actors in a big way'', he reveals, ''He made them understand the scenes and got into the most minute of details around how a character would react to a situation. He was always there for all of us. In fact time just flew when he used to tell us about his own experiences. That really helped us bring out a lot more in our performances. This is why I say that in essence and spirit, what you will see on screen is pretty much trademark Mahesh Bhatt.''

Raksha Mistry too agrees that it was only beneficial for all to learn from the veteran film maker. She says, ''When you have an asset like Bhatt saab being so deeply involved in your project, why should we have any qualms in acknowledging his contribution? It was a great learning for all to have him present on the film's sets.''
