Pankaj: I want audience to carry SANKAT CITY with them!

The unusual name, SANKAT CITY, was instantly noticed by most when it first became public. The reason is obvious; not many makers would have dared to come up with something so unconventional for a feature film. But then the director of the Moser Baer and Seven Entertainment venture, Pankaj Advani, an MS University Baroda graduate, is not your usual kind of filmmaker!

We decided to ask Pankaj himself about the film and he says, 'I have tried to make SANKAT CITY a sugar coated black comedy.' When queried about the reason Pankaj adds, ''I wanted the film to be entertaining and not preachy. I would like the audience to carry a part of SANKAT CITY with them after they leave the cinemas. And I am confident that they will.'

Well, given the intelligent & interesting promos, we are sure that the audience will love the Anupam Kher, Chunky Pandey, Kay Kay Menon, Rimi Sen and Rahul Dev starrer, when it hits the cinemas on July 10.
